Chicago.
Land of the liberals and home of the criminals.

Keep those pesky guns illegal.
That'll show 'em.

Safe to say the shooter wasn't a liberal. He was pictured wearing a trump flag as a cape, for example.

Correction, he was trolling with his Trump flag, but nice try. Nothing in any of the undoctored photos I've seen show him as being a Trump supporter.

The infantilization might have an affect.

It's just frustrating seeing people all over the internet going nuts because apparently the kid was a Trump supporter. Why can't the public just realize the kid is a nut job and leave politics out of every little thing? He was probably just a loner with no direction in life and cracked.

Because that doesn't scratch their biased itch.

For someone like the shooter he doesn't appear to be an actual trump supporter than someone who just appeared at Trump's rally.

Check out his social media pieces.

He might have been too lazy to vote, but he certainly was a fan of Trump.

Anyone who loves traditional America and the sacrifices our relatives made to Make America Great, is a fan of Trump.

That's a fallacy for sure.

This has NOTHING to with race.

It's the GUNS.

It's not the guns either. It's the mentality.

Highland Park Police have 51 pages on this fruit cakes nutty family detailing domestic abuse, drunkenness, bizarre calls to the police

His school coach commented on the turmoil in the family while he was growing up

Correction based off what?

You guys seem intent on beating each other up and are obsessed with blaming 'the other side' regardless.

Instead of wondering why so many young Americans are so disaffected and alienated that they feel compelled to go and shoot and kill random strangers just to get a bit of attention.
This constant barrage of 'its those damn commie bastard Democrats' or 'its those right-wing Republican fascists' is just increasing the gulf between the two sides and marginalising those who can't identify with either.

Who benefits from all this division?
Certainly not the American people.

Instead of magnifying every little difference you have why don't you put aside petty differences and come together and start putting right something that is so obviously very #ing wrong.

Something is very broken and only you guys can fix it.

sadly, we have been programmed (by the MSM) to get angry at the GUN first, then the political party of the shooter second, and then, only when the shooting fits a specific narrative. You aren't wrong at all, but I will say, you don't get the full effect, without getting the full indoctrination on a minute by minute basis. It's a very well organized machine, and it works exceptionally well.

And if you stop and watch for a bit, you notice that although the common sense questions are likely something along the lines of "what made this kid want to kill others?" isn't the one's asked at all, even though it's likely the most important question to answer. At least if your goal was to find a solution.....oh wait...

There is no solution. You have a generation who has had kids that are more narcissistic and non-empathetic and there outlet is the internet, social media and the need to be noticed.

The only part I still do not get is the elementary school shootings. High schools, a lot of time it is bullying and/or emotional shootings (boyfriend/girlfriend). Public areas like in Texas and NY stores. A lot of targets. They are going for the number. They shoot anyone.

But the younger kids. That is a special kind of sick.

The fact this kid shot 80 plus rounds then fled, escaped in drag and dropped his gun on the sidewalk making the exit and still was almost able to do another shooting in Madison is nuts.

But it is not the guns. It is not the party. It is the person. Sick People are just...sick people. They exist. It sucks but they do.

You can go through the members' photo threads and see a bunch of "weird loner" looks. Hell, mine is probably still in there somewhere lmao

Do you want to have a debate on whether those two things are the same or not?
