Heh, I can commiserate, you just described my entire household's symptoms circa February 2020. I didn't even eat for 3 days straight, just plain wasn't interested. It's not that uncommon, regardless of the illness at hand, I've had "Appetite Death" many times over my lifetime. Went 4 days once before my stomach got it's act together, lol. Damn, was I hungry as hell after that one.

To counteract that unintended fasting spell you got going on, have someone pick you up one of those big Gatorade powder cans, the kind that whips up multiple gallons.

Use double the amount for the water volume you're making, it works wonders, believe it or not -- I also do this during heatwaves to avoid getting heat-sick & the heat trots.
You'll stay hydrated, and have an easier time keeping the system balanced under the sickie stress, as opposed to it all sweating out, ending up depleted and feeling worse for it.

Snooze it out, mind the temp, etc. Speaking of fever, when I'm sick (doesn't matter with what) I don't actually try to medicinally break a fever at all, just reduce it a touch if it's getting too high. Unless it's over 102.5 for me, I don't break out the tylenol. Fevers actually do have a purpose, it's part of the immune system's Kill The Invaders strategy.

Edit: Hit the button before I was done.

And last, I hope you're on the upswing from here out

I was really hoping there were two things of the same name and you were winding me up as a non American here.

I can understand not wanting the vaccines what with the speed they came out and the mRNA being new even though I think it's worrying over nothing and I can respect the right to he cautious.

But to refuse the vaccines yet advocate this kind of thing is something I can't comprehend.

I'm genuinely at a loss as to how the same people not having an "untested" vaccine can eat horse wormers and sniff disinfectant made for cleaning the kitchen.

I'm #ing stunned here.

Says she's taking it more seriously now and wouldn't wish it on anyone.

Yeah, I have to be honest, I feel the same way now.

Her mates all got it at the same time.

It was a serious reality check for all of them.

At 18 you're invincible, especially when you think it's only the oldies that will get sick.

This sounds remarkably similar to my 18 year old stepdaughter who caught it about a week after her first shot so technically unvaccinated.

I'm unvaccinated and haven't had any jabs but if I technically had one or had my second one 13 days ago, does that mean I am fully vaccinated tomorrow? Where can I pick up my vax card?

I don't know anything about Vax passports, not something we have over here I'm afraid.

All I know is that like most vaccines it takes a period of time for the vaccine to take effect so just because you've had the injection not does not mean you are instantly benefiting.

Speak to your GP, they will know more than a random dude on an a CT site.
