If people are born racist, then racism is completely natural and normal.

Which means CRT is the equivalent of gay conversion therapy.

Discuss.

Gee they never thought anybody would see that one !!😃😃😃😃

Could be wrong but I believe behavioralists have concluded that seemingly racist behaviour is part of human DNA. It's encoded survival behaviour. At the primal level, all children are tribal. Their first tribe is the family unit and they cling to that for protection. It is instinctual. As they grow up, they come to identify with like members of their color tribe and view people of different skin colors as "The others",not to be trusted. At a primitive level, humans are tribal just as horses are heard animals.

Of course in modern society, kids come into contact with the ""others" and may be heard making innocent inquiries about the differences. Many of course hear disparaging comments about the "others" by their tribal elders and incorporate these ideas into their own world view. Thus for example, the Black child in the urban school is taught that all whites are evil racists who are responsible for all the woes of black people.

Viewed in this light, we then come to understand that tribal identity education and politics is basically regressive. It's a step backward in cultural evolution.

thread starting. Take a peak

Except I'm not regurgitating a news story...

And I'm not sharing my opinion.

It's a simple logical statement. If you need more information than what is contained in the statement itself, I don't know what to tell you.

Opening posts that contain minimal content, links with little or no explanation, YouTube videos with no commentary, images with little or no commentary, and similar nominal content may be removed without warning or explanation. If your topic is important to you, make sure you explain why, with links and supporting material so that our members may offer more relevant contributions, and ultimately, better threads. In fact, if you have less to say than this simple notice, then you probably do not have enough to start a new thread. Thank you for your assistance in helping to create great threads on ATS.

Weird that basic logical statements don't require Any of that, since they are self-contained.

Depends on what you decide is racism. Media would have you believe acknowledging differences is racism. I believe most people are born with the ability to acknowledge differences. By CRT definition, that's racist....

In reality though, acknowledging differences isn't racist, hostility towards differences is racist and the amount of people i've met in my life who are truly hostile towards others based solely on this is far and few between.

Either I say that everyone should earn their "success" by cultivating their professional/social acumen in a competitive industry and I am labelled a racist

Or I say that everyone should get the same rewards/status regardless of their merits and performance and I am labelled a socialist

🤷

Critical Race Theory is all about teaching people to judge other people by the color of their skin,

Errrrrrr.

No.

CRT is about structural racism. Look it up, don't make it up.

If you say either, you're wrong.

Success is not earned, it's gained by any means necessary and helped by existing power structures. Money begets money, status begets status.

Earning the same rewards is nonsense and certainly not socialism. Uncle Karl said "From each according to ability, to each according to need".

Structural racism?

Is that the new racism that they're teaching now?

No, it's the racism that's been discussed for hundreds of years. It's led some thinkers down some bizarre intellectual side streets but it's nothing new.

It's the racism CRT is about.

Seriously. You're on the internet. Look it up. Listen. Learn.

Structural racism

Definition: Structural Racism in the U.S. is the normalization and legitimization of an array of dynamics – historical, cultural, institutional and interpersonal – that routinely advantage whites while producing cumulative and chronic adverse outcomes for people of color.

www.intergroupresources.com...

Basically structural racism is racist because it judges the person on the color of their skin and not on their merit.

So yeah, it's racist.

If racism is inherited through DNA then CRT is that much more important. A perfect example is your dominate hand or foot. To be a better soccer player you have to learn to play with both feet equally. CRT will teach you how to be a better player in society using "both feet" so to speak.

The other thing...is one inherently racist by living in a First World Country and having First World Country privileges?

Racism is a thought process.

It is determining, judging a person based solely on the color of their skin.

Racism has to be taught. We need to stop teaching our children that we can pre-judge a person based on the color of their skin.

The speed limit is 55mph, but since a white man made that law, it is racist. That is how racism is "structural". Discuss.

Well if white people are born racist, then based on my peer reviewed study, Black people are born looters & murderers and Muslims are born suicide bombers. Being a born racist, I am peaceful by comparison.

First demonize

Then, since born racist, their only solution is exterminate, right ?

This is what CRT proponents are ultimately after.
Genocide
The Left's go-to solution for over a century....
