Rand Paul asking the right questions. This could be interesting.

mobile.twitter.com...

The director of the FBI *won't answer* a question from a US senator about spying on the President of the United States.

Let that sink in.

Why are these people still walking around free? All of them belong in jail.

What is the surprise... after Holder & Koskinen openly defying congress, why shouldn't everyone else?

Destroying evidence doesn't even get you put in jail or your pension seized so why not?

Firstly, I'm amazed nobody had created your username "SofaKing" until 2018. Congrats

On to the matter at hand.. how do we know the FBI director just hasn't checked his messages yet? Is Rand Paul suggesting that he verbally asked the Director this question, and the Director refused to provide a response or answer? This may sound like a stupid question but it is important to know the facts. Thanks in advance!

Trump set off the alarm himself when he was doing all those deals with the Russian mafia when he was still a democrat. That's when he came under scrutiny with the FBI, NSA and the CIA. Do you think they would stop their survellance just because he's in the WH?

Let's be honest. The FBI has been spying on the President since day one. How else do you think Hoover consolidated so much power?

Is it legal to secretly record POTUS? I think Trump should go after the FBI with everything he can.

No like.

Congressional investigators have confirmed that a top FBI official met with Democratic Party lawyers to talk about allegations of Donald Trump-Russia collusion weeks before the 2016 election, and before the bureau secured a search warrant targeting Trump’s campaign.

Former FBI general counsel James Baker met during the 2016 season with at least one attorney from Perkins Coie, the Democratic National Committee’s private law firm.

That’s the firm used by the DNC and Hillary Clinton’s campaign to secretly pay research firm Fusion GPS and Christopher Steele, a former British intelligence operative, to compile a dossier of uncorroborated raw intelligence alleging Trump and Moscow were colluding to hijack the presidential election.

townhall.com...

Had Nixon only sent his lawyer to get the FBI to spy on his opponents.

Everything woulda been fine.

Doesn’t anyone study history any more?

Another example of the bad old days returning. We just witnessed a resurgence of the McCarthy style witch hunt’s last week with the Brett Kavanaugh hearing. Now we have dirt gathering on the President the likes of J. Edgar Hoover’s days.

Hoover had files on everyone in Washington, the military, industry, and the larger business’s and when he needed a favor or something he would pull out the file and let the poor SOB read his own file. If someone was gay, or into bondage, had a girlfriend, cheated on his taxes, or had a gambling or drinking problem it was in the file, along with pictures. Hoover usually got what he wanted. Do we want that kind of law enforcement?

Do you want someone in government to read your every email, website that you visit, or record your every phone call? Then reproduce it in a few years to blackmail you into something.

Since DC leaks like a sieve, its safe to say that:

1. Yes, they are recording all Trump comms.
2. They. got. nothing.

because just as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west, so too do the leaks prevail if anything can be presented that paints Trump in a bad light.

So far.....*crickets*

This is what is ultimately pissing the democrats off, they can't pin anything on him and make it stick.

Because they, and their intel agency muppets are the rabbits, dealing with a Lion.

Trump's no fool he knows who's listening and how to get around it if he needs to. He's probably been feeding them disinformation since the campaign.

Of course they listen to him. They listen to everyone. I don't mind but they shouldn't get caught doing it.
