Out of respect for my friend, I will consult with Astronomer before starting a new thread about his work. I have asked him already and he didn't want to. If he started his own thread I would definitely participate in it; but, I believe Astro derives some benefit from engaging with me as being a Mason. I think he may be leading up to something relevant to Freemasonry in general and/or to me personally.

Maybe he will respond to this post.

Hi Canadian Mason,
Why do a lot of secret societies including House of the Temple, Washington DC align event dates to Sirius the brightest star in the sky, or the Center star of the Belt of Orion, which is Alnilam?

The above post is the point at which you jumped into my thread with your fascinating research. I am going back over all of your posts one at a time in order to 1) understand; and, 2) learn how to ask the right questions. So, starting with the above, you asked me,

Why do a lot of secret societies including House of the Temple, Washington DC align event dates to Sirius the brightest star in the sky, or the Center star of the Belt of Orion, which is Alnilam?

That needs to be put into the form of a thesis statement instead of a rhetorical question.

Can you be more specific and choose your wording more carefully?

I am asking you this because I think clarity is of paramount importance here for any new readers of this thread.

I really think we should start fresh with a new thread, Astro. I can help by transferring everything you have posted so far to the new thread or linking to it. I can also help in the organization of your material so that it presents in a logical manner easy for others to follow along.

What do you think?

Hi Manymasks, i did study all aspects of astrology to fully understand all the myths involving astronomy, but i consider it a belief, but am open minded, i did go to one of the best schools, link below:-

Hi Canadian Mason,
You are a pain, but i will do it, you think up the title of thread and start it, and it starts with you breaking down areas to write about, for my files are so large, i can run around like a chicken without a head, putting bits of everything in, so structure the process of how we write it, so you will have some commitment to the process.
Grumble grumble gnash of teeth!

In the meantime, I want to continue analyzing what you have provided here thus far.

You:

Obviously the alignments that i show happen naturally in any location, but the odds are that they were intentional.

Are you theorizing that there are numerous secret societies that have members who are intentionally but secretly practicing a form of geomanctic astronomy, members whom you also refer to as "Hermetic Asrtologers", for the purpose of influencing history? I don't know if "geomantic astronomy" is even the correct term but, I think geomancy and astronomy are involved in what you mean in some way. You also call them "mystics".

Could there exist today a secret group (or a plurality of groups) of mystics (how do you know? how do you know they are even human?) who practice the arts and sciences of old, geomancers, astronomers, astrologers, Hermeticists, mystics who conspire together to, or even battle one another for, control of history?

That's all for now.

Hahaha!

Behind every genius, there is always someone of lesser stature right behind him or her with his or her foot up his or her ass!

You want ME to think up a title for a thread about YOUR work?

Gosh, who's the pain now?!

This is going to take some thought and some time to build. I think, together, we can build a great thread!

How about this for the title?

How History is Influenced by Hermetic Astrologers, Mystics, Geomancers, Astronomers who are Members of Numerous Opposing Secret Societies, All of Whom Align to Sirius and Alnilam for a Mysterious Reason that ATS members Astronomer and CanadianMason need Your Help in Trying to Figure Out!

Can you maybe condense it?

Or more simply this?

Is Our Planet's History Being Secretively and Ubiquitously Influenced by Opposing Groups of Hermetic Astrologers, Mystics, Geomancers and Astronomers Who, in their Belief System, Harness the So-Called 'Power' of the Stars, Particularly Sirius and Alnilam?

Hi boss,
Firstly there are opposing teams, in higher circles masons can join the Knight Templar grades, you don't expect them to be in bed with the Arabs do you? They have been eye ball to eyeball with them for nearly 1,000 years, yet both use Sirius and Alnilam. Fatwa terrorists don't like Crusaders mentioned below, who also use the stars:-
fas.org...
The Catholic Vatican uses the alignments, but they are not friendly with Freemasons, and lots of politicians use it, however like you i think this is just a belief but am open minded! The proof is that it doesn't work, lots deliberate alignments fail to deliver the desired effect, but perhaps they think it could give a favourable push!

You keep thinking geometry and astrology are different, even to draw an astrology wheel needs geometry, it is a circle that is cut in to 12 segments or houses of 360 degrees, it is probable that the clock face came from this process.
en.wikipedia.org...
Astrological aspects are also made up of degrees of angles of planets that are aligned, which is how i got an alleged grand quintile or pentagram on my own chart, interesting but doesn't mean much as far as i'm concerned.

Hi Boss
I like all your idea's for a title, as long as it doesn't get chopped off by being too long to fit title brackets, all forums are different so i don't know how long a title can be here!
I am not as good as you with computers, so like the idea of some pasting1
Poor Astro is being threatened to have his butt kicked!

OK, what forum do you think would be best?
Just in case the title gets chopped off, i think i will go for a shorter title.
We need to agree on this, you are the half way partner, i always need debate for the thread to work, so lets start at the beginning!

Hermetic Philosophy and how it effects history?
How Hermetic Astrologers have attempted to change history?
The use of Hermetic Astrology throughout History?
Please give more options to agree on.

How many words can a Title have? Remember the best way is how newspapers do it to catch the eye, using less words

...what forum do you think would be best?

Since you previously suggested that your research may indicate the existence of one of the greatest and little-known conspiracies in the history of humankind, why not start the thread in the 'General Conspiracies' Forum?

'This May be One of the Greatest, Little-Known Conspiracies in History!'

How about that for a 'popping' title? I don't think it would get cut off for being too long, plus I think it's vague enough to attract the attention of some curious folks; it doesn't give anything away; rather, it compels one to click and read further for more information. So your opening statements must be clear, well-thought out, HYPNOTIC and challenging in order to keep people's interest.

To begin at the beginning, you could introduce your thesis statement. Then I could follow up with some sort of antithetical objection to it creating a space for debate. You could then counter with your evidence to which I would pose some novice questions, etc, etc. In this way, we could build the thread together, collaboratively, one block at a time. I'm certain others would jump in and participate. Your research is that good, in my opinion!

Nothing would be 'off the table'; "Hermetic Philosophy and how it effects history? How Hermetic Astrologers have attempted to change history? The use of Hermetic Astrology throughout History?"; Freemasonry; Clandestine, i.e., 'Fringe' Freemasonry; history, religion, esotericism, astrology, astronomy, sacred geometry, etc, etc, whichever corners of the universe/multiverse this all may lead to......

Awaiting your response. In case this gets deleted for 'thread drift' I am going to copy/paste and send it to you as a Private Message. Check your messages!

Still analyzing your research and claims.

You had refered me to an article posted on the 'Gnostic Warrior' blog site, entitled, 'Queen Dog Star and the Dog Kings'.

This part is partially inaccurate:

With the founding fathers of the United States being Freemasons and the followers of the Cult of Isis....

How many "founding fathers" signed the Declaration of Independence"?

How many of them can be PROVEN to have been Masons?

How many of the "founding fathers" signed the U.S. Constitution?

How many of them can be PROVEN to have been Masons?

What hard evidence can you point to that shows unequivocally that Freemasons are "followers of the Cult of Isis"?

I love the Title you chose, and the forum, it was there that i posted my thread about the First World War.
I think that the idea to concentrate on Philadelphia and Washington DC a good starting point, i have found a huge amount of alignments there that cuts down the odds of this being by chance.
I am pleased that you chose the link you did, The Kings and Queens of Windsor were formed on 17 July 1917 in London...they are aligned twice....i have finished writing on your thread, but it might take me a few days to start my new thread, i have to hunt for files that are already boxed up for moving, your timing isn't great, i would give you a kick if my legs worked LOL!

Well, timing isn't my strongest point, and thank the Great Architect/Geometer of the Universe that your legs DON'T work! Hehe! Otherwise, we'd have to spar and I'd have to kick your ass! (or vice versa)

Besides, I'm French/Irish, meaning I'm always up for a good fight.

Kidding aside.

Do you watch 'The Orville'? I love that show!

Anyway,

...concentrate on Philadelphia and Washington DC a good starting point, i have found a huge amount of alignments there that cuts down the odds of this being by chance.

Then what are you waiting for?

Begin there. I will find you, and I will spar with you as best of friends.

I'm going to Cuba for a week on the 20th, so if you don't hear from me, DON'T PANIC!

In the meantime, please start your thread!

Okay, so go find 'General Conspiracies' under 'Forums', click on 'New Thread', and plug in the title of your thread.

'This May be One of the Greatest, Little-Known Conspiracies in History!'

Something like that.

Then sit back... and let the games begin!
(Although, if true, it ain't no game!)
