Now it comes out that the Mayor of San Juan Puerto Rico is under FBI investigation !! 😃

She was very vocal about how Trump was screwing up the PR aid after the hurricanes.

She herself was involved in all kinds of malarkey it seems !!

But we all know the political parties in PR all seem to lean way-Left don't we.

Guess we can figure who got those death numbers wrong too now eh.

Busted !!!! 😃🎃

Warning !! -- highly "speculative" !!
San Juan Mayor Who Criticized Trump Now Under FBI Investigation for Corruption

San Juan Mayor Carmen Yulín Cruz infamously picked a fight with President Trump in the aftermath of Hurricane Maria last year, the storm that devastated Puerto Rico. The official death toll was 64, but Gov. Ricardo Rossello suggested the actual number is higher. President Trump signed a $36.5 billion aid package for the nation. Some of the aid took awhile to get to its destination. Cruz took aim at the White House in those months, accusing the U.S. government of turning its back on them.

New reports suggest that corruption in San Juan prevented critical supplies from reaching Hurricane Maria victims. The FBI is investigating suppliers and Cruz’s administration.

According to a local news report from El Vocero de Puerto Rico, the FBI is investigating several suppliers for alleged corruption in San Juan.

Unfortunately that is how politics is been playing down in Puerto Rico. You just start crying to get more money. Once you get the money, you start giving ridiculous contracts.
The good thing about the hurricane is that it brought all the # out (sorry for the language). Most of the help that came from FEMA came through the military because the federal government did not trust the local government (that distrust was before the hurricane). I know I was there, I was one of those people that stood for long hours to get 1 gallon of water and a few bags of military food (every single day).
The island still #ed up (sorry for that again). As close as yesterday electricity went down again to various part of the south area.

Is sad, very sad.

PD:
What do you mean when you say the parties lean way left?

Good, that woman destroyed much needed supplies in order to make FEMA's response appear muted.

A nasty POS excuse for a bag of bones.

Heh, after looking at that list I think two choices make sense (they're infected with socialism)

1) Get rid of PR as a territory of the United States - we don't need the brand of BS they're selling. All American citizens must live under freedom, and the Republican form of government the Constitution commands

2) Send in the Marines to defeat socialist forces/round up sympathizers, and restore a Republican form of government.

Article 4 Section 4, United States Constitution

The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.

Knowing this, I say let them fend for themselves. Socialists have it all figured out, right? Let them "prosper" on their own, with failures like Yulololuio Cruz. No wonder PR couldn't make due with what regular/normal/real States do after a disaster

Her malfeasance was reported on at the time. She was hoarding/denying aid to people so she could say Trump wasn't helping them. Only a relatively few people (likely with good political connections) got the aid.

List of political parties in Puerto Rico

🎃

There are only 3 mayor parties in the island.

There are a lot more "minor" parties but they lack political strength.

Now the mayor parties are:

PNP - Partido Nuevo Progresista (New Progressive Party)
This party represent the people that want the statehood for Puerto Rico.

PPD - Partido Popular Democratico (Popular Democratic Party)
This party basically want to keep the actual status of the island. Some of the leaders are in favor of the independence for the island some want statehood. So the leaders of this party just move according the current trend of the people. Their message is quite confusing most of the time. They want the freedom of the independence with the benefits of the statehood.

PIP - Puertorican Independence Party
They want the independence of the island, and they are the least favored of these 3 "mayor" parties.

Basically goes like this:

PNP - 48% of the voters
PPD - 48% of the voters (this percent change according the current trend.)
PIP - 4% of the voters
