Nah. A public hitler liking pedo has no chance,

My bad, but just a pedo might come close.

like a third party guy would win

Touché. There's always that assurance. Good thing he didn't run as a R.

In fact, the news agencies shouldn’t have even brought attention to this nut

Besides, like a third party guy would win

Who knows?

Maybe the democrat will drop dead and the Republican will be revealed to be a witch.

Nathan Larson, a man who advocates pedophilia, white supremacy and rape, and who served 16 months in prison for threatening to kill the president, is running for Congress.

He should fit right in .

Another in a long line of looneys to enter their torn and meaningless hat into the ring of campaigning for office.

Nothing needs to be done, except ignoring nonnoteowrthy assholes for their lack of meaningful contribution.

Well good thing he has been found out then.

I'm sure the Ctrl-Left will destroy his chance of winning and most likely his life.

Not for being a pedophile because there are tons among their ranks but for being a white supremacist.

The news agencies have an obligation to bring to our attention and to cover those who are running for public office.

Should they overdo it? No. Should they ignore it? No.

People have a right to know, to be informed. Hence the press (but they have a responsibility).

Brought to you by one Gov. Terry McAuliffe
Full support
The one that removed the Federal Charges rule that allowed this POS to vote and run for office
Good thing they are in Virginny and not in the real south .
We dont like pedophiles , folks that abuse females , nor white supremacists...at all
Nor anyone that supports them.

Before seeking a congressional seat, Larson ran for the Virginia House of Delegates as an independent. His candidacy became an issue in last year's Virginia gubernatorial race, because Larson is only able to run thanks to then-Gov. Terry McAuliffe, a Democrat, restoring civil and voting rights to former felons.

Ed Gillespie, last year's Republican nominee in the gubernatorial race, cited Larson's candidacy as a reason that restoring rights to felons was a bad idea and faulted Democrats who supported the move.

Why is the eligibility of federal service left up to the states to begin with? This would seem to be very much in the federal code's purview to me. Felons should be barred from elected federal positions, period, end of story, tear up this idiot's candidate form and give him a swift kick to the ass on his out the front door of the election headquarters.

Please let's not be coy. "News agencies" don't report on this crap out of a sense of duty to the people or the system. They report on it because they know a headline like "Nathan Larson is a pedophile and a white supremacist. And he's running for Congress" will make a large number of people say "Wha? Uhm, this can't be... what is this story?" and click the link, equaling more ad revenue, equaling more money to the agencies. It's capitalist gains straight to the core.

Ok, I won't be coy, I'll be Liquesence instead.

The media reports both for ratings, views, and, as their duty, to inform the populace.

The point of the media and free press is to inform the populace without repercussions from government or of censorship. How do they do that? Sure, they sensationalize at times, because it sells, but they also do their journalistic duty in letting the people know what their government is doing.

That is why the free press versus state media is singularly valuable to a democracy.

We don't have a free press. The concept is impossible when 6 multinational megacorps control 90% of the country's media outlets. You're naive.

Ironic that we have a press trying to undermine democracy now.
