Well, for those of you who flat out deny, that Russia did in fact meddle in the 2016 Elections, it seems that Russia is setting up to do just that once again.

"We expect Russia to continue using propaganda, social media, false-flag personas, sympathetic spokesmen and other means to influence, to try to build on its wide range of operations and exacerbate social and political fissures in the United States," Coats said at a hearing on worldwide threats. "There should be no doubt that Russia perceives its past efforts as successful and views the 2018 US midterm elections as a potential target for Russian influence operations."

www.cnn.com...

It is a fact that Russia did use social media against us, as well as other means to affect the election, that is a given, like it or not.

Dan Coats Director of National Intelligence says "frankly the United States is Under attack"

"Frankly, the United States is under attack," Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats told the Senate Intelligence Committee, adding that every facet of society is being targeted with cyber intrusions.

This is not Okay, and it should be addressed by the POTUS!

The brazen impudence....

In 2004 the US repealed Smith Mundt. This unleashed our intelligence apparatus on We The People. Im sure we all noticed that politics turned into a total #show around the same time.

This was a culimination of 25 years of dumbing down Americans via US Dept of Education interdiction in local district and state level educators. We stopped teaching how to think, and instead taught what to think. WHich is quite handy when you intend to tell your populace what to think via propaganda.

Problem is, this makes us susceptible to all propaganda. Russian and American.

We have done it to ourselves.

Ummm...YAWN...is this really even a thing...?

It must be so...cause CIA...FBI...Senate Intelligence committee...(is that an oxymoron...or what...?)...

"Gotta catch em all"...

Place your head between your legs...kiss your ass goodbye..."the Russians are coming"..."The Russians are coming"...

Wake me when those same..."intelligence"...agencies stop meddling in the affairs of other nations...
Until then...this is a non starter...

I call FAKE NEWS...

Just remember the Pokemon lie!

These are games as usual. All the major players play them not just Russia...only now its useful to those in politics to use it as a tool to serve their own purposes. Watch for the bombardment of propaganda from our own regarding this as well as Russia's.

Using propaganda to influence an election.
That's how politics has worked for centuries.

One one hand, everyone is afraid of censorship of the net, net neutrality, fake news and yet here's a cry for more incursion on social media.

Have you even considered this meme plays right into the intel communities' game plan???

Control and censoring of the net??? When hasn't foreign influence occurred in U.S. elections?? Right back to the first one from the Brits. Newspaper chains, then TV, now social media.

Screw the intel community.

I don't see the big deal, show me proof the Russian gov is the only country actively trying to influence our elections. Also, why is it a big deal that there is Russian propaganda on the internet all of a sudden? The media acts as if they're the only country doing it. Yet MSM didn't make a peep about the Obama admin actively controlling elections in other countries and installing their own "approved leaders".

What is their goal again, and how does sharing doom porn about the fragility of our democracy hinder it...

It isn't just twitter bots, and social media, they used other methods too, some of which we don't know about yet. Its part of the investigation. U.S. Intel has said that the Russians used "sophisticated methods", Social media was just a part of how the Russians interfered, which apparently was successful considering how many times stories put out by Russians were shared among Americans, who believe anything they see on their screens.

Hopefully they force me to vote for Trump again. I don't know what I'd do if they made me vote Hillary.

Because someone shared something on facebook one time does not indicate their beliefs or voting patterns. The idea that it does is nonsense.

Bob Mueller was given a staff of 200 investigators and millions of dollars a month to look into how Russia meddled in the 2016 election, and issue a report on how to prevent the same thing from happening in 2018 and 2020. His team has been investigating for almost a year now.

WHERE IS HIS REPORT? Time is short!

Almost every country meddles in other countries elections. Heck, Obama went to England and gave a speech meddling in their election. As long as they don't vote or physically change votes, is all i care about. That's why in my book, Mexico giving maps to people to illegally get into America is more worse then anything any other country ever did

BBC America is the UK meddling in the US. Any non american owning media in america should be considered meddling, but again, I don't care.

Meddling/collusion have become the is now like climate change, one size fits all

Why can't people just accept the fact that Trump was the better candidate? Why does it have to be that "Someone must have forced them to vote for him...."

You have no need to worry about twitter, facebook, instagram, ats ect....THERE IS AND HAS BEEN A SOCIAL MEDIA SAVIOR FOR THE DEMS......
en.wikipedia.org...

Correct the Record was a super PAC founded by David Brock. It supported Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign. The super PAC aimed to find and confront social media users who posted unflattering messages about Clinton and paid anonymous tipsters for unflattering scoops about Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump, including audio and video recordings and internal documents.

They will save you from the RuSsIaN MeNaCe
