They aren’t lying, but they are all spinning for their own agenda. If you accept everything as true from any source you are an idiot.

Believe me!

HUH?

They're all professional liars. Well except for maybe the judges.

And spin is deception.

This is one of the biggest problems of the Post-Truth Trump era, it's convinced people that there is no such thing as objective truth.

Whereas there is such a thing as objective truth. There are facts. There is science. There is research. There is law.

There is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there has always been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.'

All objective truth is determined to be so by a subjective judgment.

As if there was 'truth' pre-Trump. Do we even live in the same dimension?

Bah.

That might have been true sometime in the past (i like to think) but the last decades at least has shown proven that TPTB have misused that system.

They lost all credibility.

Why is this question being asked now?

It has always been known that when a politician opens their mouth nothing but lies come out.

Putin may mean it ...RUSSIAN DEFENSE MINISTRY RELEASED FAKE PHOTOS AS EVIDENCE OF US COORDINATION WITH ISIS southfront.org...

And then RUSSIAN DEFENSE MINISTRY INVESTIGATES INCIDENT WITH RELEASING ‘WRONG’ PHOTOS IN ITS AL-BUKAMAL STATEMENT southfront.org...

But then Russia puts this out RUSSIAN INFORMATION SECURITY POSTERS southfront.org... Could be some serious hacking going on

Everyone lies about something sometimes.
And everyone sometimes tells the truth about something.

It's a mixed bag.
Your OP is very underdeveloped and poorly thought out.

If everything is a lie, there is literally no reason to entertain or discuss any of it. And yet the internet is full of warring factions debating what is or isn't true.

There certainly are media outlets that have a much better track record with the truth than others. The major national news outlets, for example, have a lot more credibility than someone like Alex Jones or the random nutters on ATS.

And yet, one of the "warring factions" so evident on ATS has insisted for years that the mainstream media is a lapdog for the nefarious "Deep State."

Russian bots know damned well the political affiliations of those who are disenfranchised with the MSM, and they have played that constituency by creating actual "Fake News" like Pizza Gate and the like.

The truth, however, is not nearly as nebulous as the internet would have us believe.

The truer version, depending on what favours me ... That is common standard nowadays

Trump, of course! He's our God-Emperor and the only thing (besides us genius right wing internet sleuths) that's holding off the Muslim/Liberal/Clinton/Globalist/Vampire/Podesta/Grey Alien barbarian hordes that threaten God Blessed white America and my guns.

(I hope you get I'm being sarcastic)
