So much nonsense in this thread, sigh.

This is not about creating an actual army with multinational units and what not, but about increasing cooperation and coordination within EU. The national armies will remain as well as the regional battlegroups.

Thanks to Brexit and Trump there is a need to be able to operate independently of NATO, and that is what is happening.

They'll have their own operational headquarters. Joint military training and existing cooperation agreements will be stepped up. They want to share logistics, transport and other support services.

Europe already has the Eurocorps, which practicaly, is an empty shell.
I don't see why it would be a loss of sovereignty for Europe to get rid of NATO and replace it with a european aliance of some sort.

This isn't new. The Krautistanis took control of the Dutch Army a few years ago. They also took control of the biggest vessel in the Dutch Navy.

The Fourth Reich is rising.

AND America will be their target I predict

Seriously? That is too stupid to even comment on.

When the Icelandic volcano blew and all commercial jet traffic was grounded the skies cleared and they got the best satellite imagery possible.

You'd want that if you planned a military takeover.

The grounding of all commercial jets over such a large area was seen by many as a hugely disproportionate related to the actual risk from the dust cloud.

I suggest decentralisation down to units of one.

Yes but, the point is this is yet another incremental step towards the EU being a country.

It's always by steps. Baby steps. But they edge ever closer, because it's designed that way. It's designed to be unfair/unworkable, so you either have to leave and suffer the penalties (Britain) or integrate more and more. The end goal is a federal Europe.

As much as I'd like to think this would keep peace in Europe, the fact is it would come at the price of making Europe the first official, public conquest of the NWO, as I've always feared it would be. The EU exists to make lots of money for a few people, and allow a small group of people to rule all of Europe without having to be elected to the position. It's disgustingly undemocratic, exploitative, and power-hungry.

The EU "army" is not actually an insane pipedream. It is just a "fraud".
This is an old trick taken out of the drawer of the Euocrats! Their actual plan is to have the EU in a split allegiance among NATO and the EU "army". Later to provoke a civil war in the following easy steps.

1) Once Juncker is out, some magistrate or other politician will claim the EU "army" is actually taking orders from the cremlin instead of the EU.

2) Other politicians will claim that's just a NATO orchestrated lie

3) A war between the 2 parts will start. Eurogarchs and other Eurocrats will side with NATO at the last moment. They akready plan NATO to win from the beginning though (i.e. from now)

This civil war planned by Eurogarchs and Eurocrats is bad. The good civil war is when the Eurogarchs and Eurocrats' blood flood the streets.

The point here is : this is the sick plan of sick nazis sitting in Brussels. That does not mean this is what's going to happen ... What if this big ploy does not work!
The same story more or less apply for the "United States of Europe". This is a fraud, designed to provoke internal confrontation, with ultimate goal of the Eurogarchs and Eurocrats to keep the EU divided as much as possible to preserve their ability to stir conflict when they want.
Will this second plot work ? .... hmm very unlinkely.

Testimony to this situation is that the EU's official line is clear and permanent allegiance to NATO.
Additionally the unbelievable constant attempts at keeping the UK in the EU during the past 1.5 years has been remarkable.

1 - The correct action from the EU as first step for a credible unified European armed forces would be to 1st and foremost achieve NATO disbandment.

2 - In the past NATO has received high-tech weapons from the USSR under the pretext of free-market nonsense. These weapons were used to acquire capabilities and counter-capabilities, later used by NATO against Serbia on fabricated pretexts. I wonder what makes idiotic Brussels burocrats think they can do the same once more ...
