Awhile back I was surfing some paranormal sites and happened to download a few photos. I saved the links for most of them, but this one is totally without reference.

Not to be too dramatic or imply anything strange is going on here..., I actually don't remember downloading this one.

Does this ring a bell with anyone?

A Google search for Paranormal, Gravesite, Flagler, Little Girl yielded the following Pinterest site
www.pinterest.com...

1925 - a girl visiting the grave of her twin sister who died in a house fire the year before. Parents of the girl saw her, on many occasions, talking to her sister like she was playing in her room, but saw no one , until this photo was developed.

Funny pictures about Creepy Reflection. Oh, and cool pics about Creepy Reflection. Also, Creepy Reflection photos.

Picture from Miss Peregrines Home of Peculiar Children! Such a great & haunting book

real vintage image used in the book Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs. I need to read this book again. It was so creepy.

I wonder what her life was like? Maybe she's still alive.

Wow... Creepy. I don't remember reading anything about and have no idea why I downloaded it.

So the pic is considered legit?

There is something not right about the reflections of the tombstones.

The reflection is not the same.

According to this post on Imgur:

Hoax: "Photograph, taken in 1925 of a girl visiting the grave of her twin sister who died in a house fire the year before."

Truth: This image, along with many others, is a picture used in the book series "Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children" to help tell the story, usually edited to help the effect.

I agree. Look at the little girl's feet... They are too level to the ground.

Also, since when did a reflection on water produce a photo-negative image?

ETA: The reflected heads appear to be negatives -- the dresses not so much.

We're not looking at the obvious. The reflections of the stones are wrong. Two separate photos glued together then photographed ?

Maybe an early version of Photoshop existed even way back then.

No,

But, scissors and razor blades do.

Looks like two combined images.

That photo of the lady talking on a cell phone around 1925 was weird too.

I thought she was one of "The Doctor's" companions? I could be mistaken or maybe it's...just a coincidence.

Due to the fact that the gravestones are a good distance behind the girl, perhaps 10 meters, and the angle of reflection - it would seem that you are seeing a higher elevation of the gravestones plus the tops of the trees much further behind.

The straight on photograph itself cannot capture that upper viewing area except in the angled reflection upon the water.

The photo appears genuine aside of the additional girl and the black area over their faces which is a definite anomaly.

To debunk this we need professional photograph analysis not conjecture, feelings, and opinions.

That was not a cell phone.

She was using a very common device prior to modern hearing aids called an "ear trumpet".

One thing I learned from ATS in these 13 years is that you must reserve judgment till well after people reply.

There are always people who are so certain of something on their knee jerk reactions yet 3 hours later someone who's done research comes in and turns all of it upside down.

So be patient and remain skeptical and undecided until more information becomes available.

The people believing in time travelers going back to the 1920s and somehow getting a signal on a cell phone is a perfect example of this.
